Use the PATH environment variable in linux to get access to all neede binaries : https://opensource.com/article/17/6/set-path-linux
root-config is a binary provided by ROOT, so if you use ROOT with GATE, then you should have it.
It is used to provided correct links to ROOT libraries.
Same for CASToR, add the path to the bin directory into the PATH variable so that you don’t have to go inside this bin directory to execute CASToR.
