ImageCT reconstruction :: Castor

Hi,
I’m a PHD student who is doing an assignment of CT simulation with Gate. I’ve done every step introduced in the Gate users’ guide except the final step of data processing because I have got some problems on it. My goal of processing data is to obtain an image of the cross section of the phantom. I have tried 3 types of output: ASCII, ROOT and ImageCT .

Plz How I can use castor for obtain image

Hi Abdel,

Castor’s conversion tools are only available for cylindrical PET / SPECT Gate systems.

The conversion of CT data/geometry would have to be done manually following the format describe in the documentation, sections 5.3 and 6.3: http://www.castor-project.org/sites/default/files/2020-09/CASToR_general_documentation.pdf .
