Hi CASToR users,
This might be a silly question but does anyone know how to reconstruct using only filtered backprojection without any optimizer/iterations?
I’m used to using different optimizers but now I wanted to do a good old FBP reconstruction and I realized that MLEM is the default and I couldn’t quite figure out if it’s possible.

It’s not possible to do an analytical reconstruction like FBP with CASToR. Only iterative/algebraic algorithms are implemented. The CASToR datafile format makes it difficult to implement a reconstruction like FBP that assumes that the data are organized as true sinograms/projections.
